 as well as other gear shaped components, using the hobbing method. The method of using a gear hobbing tool as a cutting tool to machine the tooth profile of gears, racks, etc. is called "gear hobbing".

The safe operation method of CNC gear hobbing machine is as follows:

1. The rough surface of the workpiece must not be directly placed on the workbench and supported by shims or spiral tops; It is prohibited to use the workbench for other operations such as hammering to calibrate workpieces, welding workpieces, etc.

2. When aligning the workpiece, only low-speed reverse alignment of the worktable can be performed, and high-speed alignment is prohibited.

3. When starting and stopping the workbench, the handle for opening and stopping the workbench can only be pulled by hand, and it is forbidden to use foot pedals

4. During the transition of the workbench, it is prohibited to lift the crossbeam or move the tool holder rapidly

5. When moving the crossbeam, the clamping device must be loosened first, and the clamping should be done immediately after the movement is completed. After each lowering of the crossbeam, 

it should rise slightly to eliminate the gap between the screw and nut.

6. It is not allowed to perform gravity cutting when the sliding pillows of the vertical tool holder and side tool holder are extended for a long time; When using a straight tool holder for machining, 

especially for gravity cutting, the crossbeam should be lowered as close to the working position as possible.
