1、 Basic Principles of CNC Gear Shaper
A CNC gear hobbing machine is a machine equipment used for producing gears. Its basic principle is to drive the gear hobbing cutter through the CNC system based on the input CNC program instructions, thereby achieving high-precision gear production. Compared with traditional manual gear hobbing machines, CNC gear hobbing machines have advantages such as high processing efficiency and good repeatability accuracy.
2、 Usage of CNC gear hobbing machine
1. Machine preparation
Place the CNC gear hobbing machine on a flat surface and connect the power and air sources to ensure that the machine is in normal working condition.
2. Set parameters
According to the requirements of the workpiece and the settings of the CNC program, set the machining parameters of the CNC gear hobbing machine, including tool selection, feed rate, cutting depth, etc.
3. Operation steps
(1) Start up preheating: Press the start switch of the CNC gear hobbing machine to perform system self check and initialization, and preheat the gear hobbing cutter to the set temperature.
(2) Clamping workpiece: Fix the gear workpiece to be machined on the worktable of the CNC gear hobbing machine and perform clamping operation.
(3) Editing program: According to actual needs, edit the gear hobbing program through the CNC system and upload the program to the CNC gear hobbing machine.
(4) Start machining: Press the machining start button to start the automatic machining operation of the CNC gear hobbing machine. During the processing, attention should be paid to observing the processing status to prevent abnormal situations from occurring.
(5) End machining: After machining is completed, manually move the worktable back to the origin and turn off the CNC gear hobbing machine.
