The parallelism between the spindle axis of the machine tool and the spindle axis of the worktable exceeds the tolerance, and the reasons for this are as follows:

When adjusting the fixed guide rail and sliding guide rail of the tool holder, insert strips are used. If the fit is not good or the gap is too large, it will have an impact on the tooth direction;

The ring on the worm gear inside the tool holder does not coincide with the axis of the tool spindle;

The end face of the support worm gear or support ring of the tool holder body is not perpendicular to the axis of the tool spindle.

The cutter of the gear shaping machine is unstable.

Solution:

Strictly control the parallelism between the spindle axis of the machine tool and the spindle axis of the workbench. The specific measures are:

Adjust the position of the inlay to ensure that the gap between the sliding guide rail and the worm gear hole is not greater than 0.005;

After aligning, tighten the screws and reinstall the locating pins;

Scrape both end faces to ensure their perpendicularity is within 0.01 range.

Adjust the tool mechanism to achieve a reset accuracy of less than 0.01

Due to operational, gear blank accuracy, and installation reasons

Improper installation of gear inserting fixtures and unqualified end jumping;

The tooth blank has a large error;

Cleanliness or scratches;

The selection of the excess stroke of the gear shaping cutter is too small, and the cutting on the tooth width is not yet completed during gear shaping. The worktable drives the workpiece to pass the cutter.

Solution:

Check the accuracy of tooling and blanks;

Choose a reasonable amount of excess and readjust.
