Operating procedures for gear hobbing machine

1.After passing the operator training, they should be familiar with the performance, structure, etc. of the machine to facilitate operation.

2. Before starting up, it is necessary to strictly follow the lubrication regulations for oil injection, and maintain an appropriate amount of oil. 

The oil circuit should be unobstructed, the oil level should be marked, and the oil cup should be filled

Clean the oil lines and other components.

3. Check whether the positions of each control handle are correct, whether the protective devices are in good condition, etc. After running for about 1 minute in air,

 check whether the movements and sounds of each part are normal, and whether the coolant is unobstructed.

4. When fixing the hobbing cutter on the cutter shaft, pay attention to the direction of the cutter teeth and tighten the nut to prevent loosening.

5. The processed gear rack blank must be securely fastened to ensure a certain amount of clearance for the insert tool.

When processing several gear teeth blanks at the same time, it is necessary to ensure good contact between each end face and there should be no impurities.

7. The nut for locking the rack must be intact, otherwise it needs to be replaced before use.

8. The device is prohibited from changing speed during operation, and attention should be paid to changing the two positions of the handle. When one handle is operated,

The other handle must be in the middle position, otherwise it cannot be activated.

9. Reasonably adjust the working stroke length of the gear cutter, and be careful not to hit the tray with the gear cutter.

10. After adjusting the itinerary, manually travel several times to confirm safety before starting work.

11. The coolant tank must be cleaned of iron pins and impurities once a month.

12. After work, it is necessary to check and clean the equipment, and place all operating handles (switches) in neutral (zero position). 

Turn on the power switch to achieve neatness, cleanliness, lubrication, and safety.
